Overview
ReadersClub is an online bookstore with a collection of over 250,000 new and used books. Their categories range from thrillers and contemporary to non-fictions and self development books as well.
How ReadersClub differs from other conventional book stores is that they have their own printing facility, which they use to create hardcovers and paperbacks of high quality and of reasonable price, cheaper than other bookstores which makes ReadersClub a haven for avid readers. | As a startup, ReadersClub was having trouble setting up their base on the social media platform. For a starter they too, similar to other businesses, opened a Facebook page but due to lack of user engaging contents, they haven’t acquired many followers and therefore, only a handful of people know about ReadersClub. |
ReadersClub
Since ReadersClub is a novice, we haven’t actually pinpointed any errors in their marketing strategies because they haven’t designed anything specific for targeting audience, promoting their business through their Facebook page and keeping the page updated. The team of MarketingBiz will be starting from scratch, to build up an arsenal of posts, ads and branding and promotion components for ReadersClub to
use gradually.
ReadersClub and MarketingBiz had an initial planning meeting and we’ve come to terms with using the following services offered by MarketingBiz as a starter:

Budget
As the tasks involved in this project will be in continuation until the contract is valid, the billing cycle will be set twice every month, on the 15th and 30th days, which means ReadersClub will have to forward two payments each month to MarketingBiz. The hourly rate taskwise is given as follows:

Terms
1. Prior to signing the contract, ReadersClub may request an amendment after reviewing the business proposal, which may be settled upon both party’s consent. However, no changes will be made or should be requested after both parties have signed the agreement. Signing of the agreement will also officially confirm MarketingBiz’s position as ReadersClub’s marketing consultant and analyst. | |
2. All payments set as per the billing cycle must be cleared within the mentioned dates, delay in which will be considered only during public holidays. All payments must be made via PayPal. | |
3. MarketingBiz will ensure confidentiality of all information shared by ReadersClub and will not by any means, use them for illegal purposes. | |
4. MarketingBiz will complete all assignments and tasks decided to be done on a daily, weekly and monthly basis following the plan mentioned in the roadmap section. Any strategic changes required should be discussed with ReadersClub before implementation. | |
5. Both MarketingBiz and ReadersClub hold the authority to terminate the contract immediately if any of the terms are violated. |
